This course is geared towards companies and supervisors that are in a position of making "reasonable suspicion" determinations. Although this course is intended for those not covered by the Department of Transportation (DOT) rules, it covers Best Practices and guidelines, such as those included in the DOT rules. This course is appropriate for employees, as well, giving learners knowledge of alcohol misuse and drug abuse and the dangers of both in the workplace.This course will give supervisors, managers, and leaders an excellent grasp of how to handle potential drug and alcohol use/abuse issues in the workplace. This FRA-APPROVED 2-hour* online reasonable suspicion course meets the requirements for Supervisor Reasonable Suspicion Training (if the student spends the appropriate/required time on it). The course meets several DOT Agency requirements for supervisory training (signs and symptoms of alcohol misuse and drug abuse), including the FMCSA Regulations, as well as several other DOT agency requirements and many state drug-free workplace program requirements. The Trainer portion of the course prepares the learner to act as the qualified monitor/trainer for other STT students on their alcohol screening device (ASD).
