This online Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) training course covers Component 1 the DOT-required training for BATs -- the procedural requirements and Rules & Regulations found in 49 CFR Part 40.This course includes training on the following: The Federal alcohol rules EBT methodology Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs) for breath alcohol instruments Testing location requirements The alcohol testing form (ATF) Much more! Pay Now to attend a scheduled webcam proficiency class. The fee of $250.00 requires participation in a regularly-scheduled webcam class. Please contact us if you need a private session.] Before attending a Proficiency Demonstration class, the Collector Student must complete the online Procedures training course. Click here for details regarding the online Procedures training. After making payment, you may choose a class date. The webcam class is 4-hours in length. This real-time webcam class covers the second component of DOT-required specimen collector training — the proficiency demonstration. After completing the online qualification (procedures) training course, the Collector (or Collector Instructor) student must demonstrate their proficiency in DOT collections by completing five (5) consecutive and specific mock collections. Federal Regulations require that the mock collections must be error-free and completed under the observation of a qualified Monitor/Collector Instructor. Students successfully completing both components of the training are awarded a Certificate documenting their proficiency in specimen collections for DOT drug testing. Certificates are valid for 5 years, by Federal Regulation. Important: Our Policy requires that collector students complete Certified Training Solutions' online Collector Procedures course (purchased separately) in advance of participating in the hands-on proficiency/mock collections webcam class. This training module covers the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) rules found in 49 CFR Part 199– DRUG AND ALCOHOL TESTING.
